From the field straight to table thru our kitchen!
We produce our own meals from organic and local materials depending on season. Locally produced and hand made are our corner stones on our family business and menus can be customized according to your wishes.
Our Black Angus beef comes directly from our own organic farm. Berries and juices come mostly from our own garden and mushrooms from our local forest. Pickles are made with special recipe with home cucumber and they are so tasty that they will blow your mind!
In fish we trust our local lake fishes directly from clean lake next to us.
Rye bread we make from the root which was imported straight from the Kivennapa Karelia by our place’s founders Armas and Aino Kähönen while they evacuated from Karelia in the year 1945. Fluor is organic rye, which is perfectly coarse for our breads. Bread is yeast free and it will be sliced thin just before serving, which gives it a special taste!
For a main course you can choose meat, fish and vegetarian options. Every special needs (ie. allergies) will be noted when we make a menu. Kivennava’s buffet will be compiled according to your wishes from traditional and fresh salads, fish and meat in different styles.
Our raw material’s availabilities change depending on seasons and changes in menu can occur. We gladly tell you about our family business and story while we present you menu, if you wish.
All of our food is made only pre-reserved and we are only open if reserved, excluding in our open events.
If you have special needs for main meal, we charge for 10-15 € additional fee. Additional fee depends on extra work, and it will be estimated per order. Individual allergies are noticed with out additional fee.
